Trumpitis

Image
Jackson Ewing, director of Asian sustainability at the Asia Society Policy Institute, said, " Trump recently made good on his promises to begin rolling back President Obama’s climate and clean energy agendas, while Xi is working to assure the Chinese people and the world that China will continue to face climate change head-on." There is hardly any doubt that climate change, in fact is caused by human race - the bad news is that it is happening fast, the good news is that it can be controlled, that is if we are willing to do so. A child comes into this world without any identity, his nature or "fitra" is purely from God (my belief) but then we assign him/her a name and other identities, then schools teach him/her not only what to think but also "how" to think. My point here is that the competitive and materialistic attitudes are being taught in order to promote a more industrialist and war prone world, such attitudes can also be unlearned. As I wri...

Bee's habitat

Image
When humans build a shopping plaza, or a house, they do not think about other species that live on that land as well. We do fight cases against human occupation and try to resolve other legal battles but not for trees, or for bees. Think about it, the bees work so hard to provide honey and to pollinate fruits and flowers for us but we can't do anything for them. This tiny blog cannot do much without your cooperation to change the systems that are so threatening to our existence on planet earth. I cannot accept that we live in a civilized world where the present scientific research is telling us that the marine life is in danger because of the plastic trash we throw in the ocean; where we start wars to take away the weapons of mass destruction and create more wars in return; where we do not think before cutting an entire jungle to make silly big houses for the human race, which we put in the harms way, anyways. Somewhere in Africa, they are collecting flip flops from the be...

Melon Minty Express

Image
In a blender, add 1 cup of water, 1 cup melon, 1 tbs lemon juice, 1/2 cucumber cubes, 6 leaves of fresh mint, and 1 tbs of honey. Blend it and have a pleasant drink.

Divine Drink and Drones

Image
This is mango and papaya smoothie with some pepper mint. You need 3/4 cup of cubed papaya, 1 cup of peeled mango, sugar according to your taste, 4 leaves of mint, and 1 cup of water. Add ice cubes with all the ingredients in a blender and blend it. Your luscious smoothie is ready. The idea behind this drink and this picture was to make you realize how important the bees are to make this world like a divine blue planet in the universe. I am compelled to write after reading this article about drone bee, do not want to encourage science of destruction like atomic bombs and cutting of trees to build huge skyscraper. Instead, we all should demand vertical forests and more trees. We need to introduce projects in schools to protect bees and it's habitat. Encourage them to design plants and flowers friendly communities - combined effort is required to change the concepts of  destructive glory.

Inspiration

Image
Nature is so amazing, it inspires us to design beautiful prints, expensive perfumes and grand exhibitions of flowers. I don't like the way the authors of science fiction draw grim images of our future in this world, without trees and flowers. They do understand that fashion industry would end in the era smarter than our's, as most people wear same sci-fi fit clothes in those books. Why can't we have that kind of understanding now to change the course of time, on which we are moving so fast; I wonder why?

Nature's Bliss

Image
Nature is remarkable, the colors, nutrients, the flavors and sweets smell of fruits and vegetables. But we, humans are slowly, and sadly destroying it all - staring from bees. Our lifestyle is not in favor of Eco-friendly jobs and systems. Can we really take the risk of believing in such systems ? Don't know about you but I really don't think so.

Golden era and Syria...

Image
As I am asking everyone to stop spraying poisonous pesticides on flowers because it kills bees, I see  images of Syrian children dying of chemical gas, it's simply horrible. I can't believe that we live in such a careless inhumane world. #saveSyria #savePlanetEarth

Sunflowers

Image
I took this shot few days ago when the weather was not that hot in Lahore. It was an amazing site, the glowing sunflowers along a busy road, so I had to park my car to take this shot :) Nice to see that Parks and Horticulture Authority (P.H.A) Lahore planted so many flowers to welcome spring :)

Red it all ;)

This is a healthy and yummy reminder to all of you out there to save bees, enjoy nutritious drinks, and promote nature. Plant more flowers and encourage each other to take a walk or ride a bicycle. Coming back to this drink, simply use a juicer to mix carrot juice and water melon juice with a table spoon of lemon juice if you like.
